Very important is a road loss of third ranked Basket Kosice (5-5) against fourth ranked Pardubice (5-5) on Friday night. Visiting Basket Kosice was crushed by Pardubice in Pardubice 107-69. Pardubice shot 60.5 percent from the field. They also forced 22 Basket Kosice turnovers. Forward Josef Potocek (196-96) scored 24 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Martin Roub (206-97) chipped in 15 points during the contest. Pardubice's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was swingman Jan Bohm (191-95) with 18 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and power forward Dusan Hlavacek (197-77) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Pardubice moved-up to third place in Places 7-12. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
