Basket Gdynia outgunned Istanbul University to advance into semifinals. The game without a history. Basket Gdynia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Istanbul Uni to just 7 points in first and fourth quarters. Basket Gdynia held Istanbul Uni to an opponent 18.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 46.5 percent accuracy of the winners and had 23 for 33 from the free-throw line, while Istanbul Uni only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Istanbul Uni 62-24 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Basket Gdynia looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Istanbul Uni's players. Power forward Dominika Miloszewska (190-94) nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and forward Amalia Rembiszewska (191-96) accounted for 18 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Ceren Cetin (177-99) came up with 13 points and point guard Cora Neslisah (170-99) added 6 points respectively for Istanbul Uni in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
