Regular Season Round 51: Shinshu BW - Bambitious Nara 70-86

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fifth ranked Bambitious Nara's (19-30) road victory over 6th ranked Shinshu BW (12-38) in Nagano 86-70 on Saturday. Bambitious Nara forced 21 Shinshu BW turnovers. It was a good game for American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) who led his team to a victory with 9 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Higuchi Mato (177-92) contributed with 19 points and 4 steals for the winners. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Dutch power forward Jeroen van-der-List (213-89, college: Indian Hills CC) answered with 13 points and 5 rebounds and guard Kazuya Mitsui (190-94) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Shinshu BW. Four Shinshu BW players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Bambitious Nara maintains fifth place with 19-30 record. Shinshu BW lost their tenth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 38 games lost. Bambitious Nara will have a break next round. Shinshu BW will play again at home against Bambitious Nara (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
