The game was mostly controlled by BAM Poprad. Slovan was better in second period 18-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Slovan to just 6 points in third quarter. BAM Poprad forced 21 Slovan turnovers and outrebounded them 39-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for Zuzana Ivancakova (178-93) who led her team to a victory scoring 6 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Lucia Hadacova (185-95) helped adding 10 points and 7 rebounds. BAM Poprad's coach Milan Cernicky allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was center Renata Talajkova (190-81) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Beata Paulovicova (188-75) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds.
