Second Stage Round 4: Rabotnicki - Kozuv 68-67

Important game to mention about took place in Skopje. Third ranked Rabotnicki (2-2) saved a 1-point derby victory at home edging one of their biggest challengers Kozuv (1-3) 68-67 on Saturday evening. Kozuv was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Rabotnicki made 21-of-27 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Gjorgi Cekovski (203-79) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 6 rebounds and the former international point guard Vlado Ilievski (188-80, agency: BeoBasket) who added 13 points and 4 assists during the contest. Five Rabotnicki players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian Milivoje Mijovic (200-91) responded with 9 points and 12 rebounds and American point guard Kenyon McNeaill (185-91, college: Louisiana Tech) scored 13 points and 7 assists. Rabotnicki maintains third position in Liga with 2-2 record having just two points less than leader MZT Skopje. Kozuv at the other side dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. Rabotnicki will play against Feni Industries (#4) in Kavadarci in the next round. Kozuv will play at home against the league's second-placed Karpos Sokoli to get more than just one victory in their record.
