CCC Polkowice nipped Sleza in Wroclaw in the opener. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Magdalena Leciejewska (191-86) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 8 rebounds. American point guard Jamierra Faulkner (168-92, college: S.Mississippi) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. American point guard Sharnee Zoll-Norman (170-86, college: Virginia) answered with 17 points and 5 rebounds and international Agnieszka Skobel (180-89) added 14 points in the effort for Sleza Wroclaw. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
