No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Strumica (3-1) beat bottom-ranked Vardar (1-3) in Skopje 55-50. The guests were ahead by 8 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 17-10 run, which allowed them to win the game. Strumica dominated on the defensive end, holding Vardar to just 6 points in first quarter. They also forced 23 Vardar turnovers. The former international forward Vladimir Brckov (200-89, agency: BeoBasket) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Serbian forward Petar Jokic (201-91) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. American-Nigerian guard Deji Ibitayo (193-93, college: Akron) produced 15 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Daniel Kalov (204-89) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Vardar's coach Gjorgi Kocov tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Strumica maintains seventh position in Liga with 3-1 record. Newly promoted Vardar stay at the bottom place with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
