The game without a history. Gorizont led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Istanbul Uni to just 2 points in fourth quarter and to 9 points in second half. Gorizont dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Istanbul Uni's 22. Gorizont forced 30 Istanbul Uni turnovers and outrebounded them 36-25 including 16 on the offensive glass. Russian-Belarusian forward Yuliya Rytsikava (181-86, agency: LBM Management) nailed 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and guard Natalia Anufryienka (174-85) accounted for 14 points. Four Gorizont players scored in double figures. Point guard Cora Neslisah (170-99) came up with 13 points and point guard Zeybek Senay (160-1) added 7 points respectively for Istanbul Uni in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
