Semi-Finals Game 1: HyPo - PeKa 83-51

HyPo rallied past PeKa to open win count in the semis. The game without a history. HyPo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Peli-Karhut to just 6 points in fourth quarter. HyPo made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Peli-Karhut 41-24 including a 34-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. HyPo players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Peli-Karhut was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Bria Goss (178-92, college: Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international center Taru Tuukkanen (192-77, college: Xavier) contributed with 17 points and 6 assists for the winners. American guard Daisha Simmons (178-91, college: Seton Hall, agency: Gamble Sports Management) answered with 22 points and international swingman Roosa Lehtoranta (176-97) added 11 points in the effort for Peli-Karhut. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
