Very predictable result when second ranked Eskilstuna (15-2) smashed on the road 8th ranked Talje Knights (3-15) 89-60 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Eskilstuna. Talje Knights was better in third quarter 25-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Eskilstuna dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Talje Knights' 34. They outrebounded Talje Knights 42-25 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Eskilstuna looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for forward Franck Kouagnia (201-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Pontus Oksman (185-92) helped adding 14 points and 9 assists. Four Eskilstuna players scored in double figures. Center Hampus Ramstedt (200-99) responded with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Samuel-Eliasson Godonou (185-93) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Talje Knights' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Eskilstuna have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of BEHS forts leader. Talje Knights lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 15 games lost. Eskilstuna will face Helsingborg (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
