Finals Game 1: Gimle Pride - Ulriken 71-51

Gimle Pride outgunned Ulriken to earn Bronze medals. The game was mostly controlled by Gimle Pride. Ulriken managed to win second period 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Ulriken to just 6 points in third quarter. Gimle Pride forced 28 Ulriken turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Solveig Mildestvedt (165-98) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 4 assists. Forward Birte Hegrenaes (177-88) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Gimle Pride's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international forward Maren-Hoff Austgulen (182-91, college: Idaho) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and forward Helene Kongestol (182-93) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Ulriken.
