Quarter-Finals Round 3: CLS Knights - Garuda 61-52

CLS Knights outgunned Garuda in the decisive third game of the series and sealed their semifinal appearance. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 41-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Garuda helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American forward Duke Crews (203-88, college: Bowie St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds. Canadian guard Ashton Smith (187-89, college: Indiana, PA) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American center Chris Ware (203-89, college: Indiana Tech) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import guard Sherrard Brantley (188-90, college: Georgia) added 21 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Garuda. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
