Araski upset Gernika on the road to surge ahead in the quarterfinal series. Gernika was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 17-12 charge of Araski, which allowed them to win the game. Swingman Marta Tudanca (182-90, agency: ProDep Management) stepped up and scored 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and American Margaret Roundtree (183-88, college: Gardner-Webb, agency: ProDep Management) chipped in 12 points.
