Quarter-Finals Round 2: Lucenec - Inter Bratislava 66-79

Inter Bratislava upset Lucenec on the road to gain 2-0 lead in the series. It looked good early as Lucenec took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Inter Bratislava had a 19-15 second period charge getting the lead and Lucenec was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 66-79. Inter Bratislava dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Lucenec's 20. American point guard James Kinney (187-90, college: San Jose St., agency: Octagon Europe) notched 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and the former international power forward Radoslav Rancik (205-79, college: St.Cloud St., agency: BeoBasket) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Inter Bratislava's coach Oliver Vidin allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 18 points and 5 assists by Serbian Strahinja Stojacic (197-92) did not help to save the game for Lucenec. American forward Aaron Rountree-III (203-93, college: Iona) added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the hosts.
