Quarter-Finals Round 3: BC Lulea - Umea 92-57

BC Lulea overcame Umea to advance into the semifinal stage. The game without a history. BC Lulea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Umea to just 6 points in third and fourth quarters. BC Lulea made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 27 Umea turnovers. Strangely Umea outrebounded BC Lulea 36-24 including 29 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points. Guard Joel Svensson (185-96) helped adding 11 points. BC Lulea's coach Peter Oqvist felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was center Andre Nilsson (209-90) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Johan Ronstrom (204-89) scored 12 points and 4 assists.
