Finals Game 4: Matanzas - Pinar del Rio 55-66
Date: April 6, 2017
Pinar del Rio clinched the third consecutive victory in the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Pinar. Guerreros managed to win third quarter 20-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Pinar especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Osmel Oliva (178-87) who helped to win the game recording 21 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!). The former international point guard Yosiel Monterrey (185-88) contributed with 13 points, 7 assists and 9 steals for the winners. The former international guard Danys Torrientes (190-85) replied with 17 points and 4 steals and the former international guard Yuniskel Molina (185-93) added 15 points and 5 steals in the effort for Guerreros. Guerreros' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
