Salon Vilpas topped Pyrinto to sweep the quarterfinal series. Tampereen Pyrinto was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 26-16 charge of Salon Vilpas, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Al'Lonzo Coleman (201-89, college: Presbyterian) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. International Mikko Koivisto (194-87, college: NC-Greensboro, agency: Blacktop Management) chipped in 18 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward JNathan Bullock (196-87, college: Cleveland St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Antero Lehto (185-84) added 16 points and 5 assists respectively.
