Quarter-Finals Round 3: Kataja Basket - BC Nokia 80-61

Kataja overcame BC Nokia to take 2-1 lead. It looked good early as BC Nokia took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Joensuun Kataja had a 23-13 second period charge getting the lead and BC Nokia was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 61-80. Joensuun Kataja forced 22 BC Nokia turnovers. It was a good game for American Rion Brown (198-91, college: Miami, FL) who led his team to a victory with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import point guard Darryl Bryant (185-90, college: W.Virginia) contributed with 19 points for the winners. American guard Javier Duren (193-93, college: Yale) answered with 19 points and forward Eldar Skamo (198-86) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for BC Nokia.
