Quarter-Finals Round 4: BC Nokia - Kataja Basket 69-74

Kataja Basket outgunned BC Nokia on the road and advanced into the semifinal stage. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But BC Nokia won third quarter 20-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Joensuun Kataja made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American Rion Brown (198-91, college: Miami, FL) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and the former international point guard Teemu Rannikko (189-80) who added 13 points during the contest. Four Joensuun Kataja players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Eldar Skamo (198-86) responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Isaiah Wilkerson (191-90, college: NJIT) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds.
