The game between Top Four teams took place in Szolnok. host Szolnok (19-10) defeated Kormend (19-9) 78-71. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-71. The best player for the winners was international power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-91) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. International swingman David Vojvoda (196-90) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Guinea-Bissau point guard Perry Petty (185-88, college: UTRGV) who recorded 14 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals and American forward Terry Allen (203-93, college: Richmond) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Four Szolnok and five Kormend players scored in double figures. Szolnok will meet Alba in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kormend will play against Falco KC and hope to secure a win.
