Hapoel Afula dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Hap.Haifa's 30. They outrebounded Hap.Haifa 39-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. Hapoel Afula looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Hap.Haifa's players. Point guard Amit Gershon (183-95) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Jalen Cannon (198-93, college: St.Francis, NY) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Hapoel Afula players scored in double figures. Guard Tal Parselani (195-87) responded with 16 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Ofek Avital (183-97) scored 19 points. Hap.Haifa's coach Shaked Shoham gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
