Semi-Finals Game 2: Kauhajoki - Salon Vilpas 82-78

Kauhajoki overcame Salon Vilpas to gain the first win in the series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 21-16. But Salon Vilpas won second period 20-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Kauhajoen Karhu won last quarter 22-20. The best player for the winners was American forward Devonne Giles (203-83, college: Texas Tech) who scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Bosnian guard Bojan Sarcevic (190-88) chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Kauhajoen Karhu players scored in double figures. Guard Michael Pounds (189-88) produced 19 points and 6 rebounds and Matias Ojala (199-89) added 14 points respectively for the guests.
