Kapshagay outgunned Kazygurt to claim Bronze medals. Kapshagay dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Kazygurt's 24. They outrebounded Kazygurt 47-26 including a 34-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kapshagay players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Kazygurt's players. Forward Ilya Syubar (193-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points. The former international swingman Konstantin Dvirniy (192-88) contributed with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Kapshagay's coach Dmitri Korovnikov felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Zhandos Kaliyev (197-93) replied with 8 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Seilhan Erzhigitov (178-88) added 15 points in the effort for Kazygurt.
