Homenetmen cruised past Champville for 1-0 lead. Homenetmen outrebounded Champville 47-36 including 32 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The former international swingman Fadi El-Khatib (198-79) nailed 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and international center Ater Majok (208-87, college: Connecticut) accounted for 10 points and 12 rebounds. American swingman Brandon Thomas (198-84, college: Massachusetts, agency: Three Eye Sports) came up with 15 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import point guard Patrick Rembert (185-89, college: Cal-Irvine) added 11 points and 6 assists respectively for Champville in the defeat.
