Finals Game 2: Hong Kong ELL - Singapore S. 92-84

Hong Kong ELL rallied past Singapore Slingers to even the Finals at 1-1. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Singapore Slingers won third quarter 25-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hong Kong ELL forced 24 Singapore Slingers turnovers. American players dominated the game. Power forward Josh Boone (208-84, college: Connecticut) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds. Guard Marcus Elliott (191-84, college: Louisiana Tech) contributed with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Hong Kong ELL players scored in double figures. Guard Xavier Alexander (198-88, college: S.Nazarene) replied with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and center Justin Howard (209-81, college: Mercer) added 19 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Singapore Slingers. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
