Semi-Finals Game 2: Araski - Girona 43-61

Date: April 19, 2017
Girona outgunned Araski on the road to sweep the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Argon Uni Girona. Araski was better in second period 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Araski to just 7 points in third quarter. They outrebounded Araski 43-24 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Mali-French center Naignouma Coulibaly (191-89) notched 7 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and Greek forward Artemis Spanou (188-93, college: Robert Morris) supported her with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Even 7 points and 4 assists by Venezuelan point guard Roselis Silva (166-91, college: Arkansas Tech) did not help to save the game for Araski. Center Laura Pardo (186-89) added 8 points for the hosts.
