Semi-Finals Game 3: Kataja Basket - Helsinki Seagulls 105-80

Kataja Basket cruised past Helsinki Seagulls to take 2-1 lead. The game was mostly controlled by Joensuun Kataja. Helsinki Seagulls managed to win third quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Joensuun Kataja shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. The best player for the winners was American swingman Jarekious Bradley (196-90, college: SE Missouri St., agency: Diamond Sports) who scored 28 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import Rion Brown (198-91, college: Miami, FL) chipped in 18 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Devonte Upson (206-93, college: SE Louisiana) who recorded 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and the former international Carl Lindbom (206-91) added 11 points respectively. Five Joensuun Kataja and four Helsinki Seagulls players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
