Second ranked Karpos Sokoli (6-2) crushed at home 5th ranked Kumanovo (2-6) by 25 points 100-75, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. The game without a history. Karpos Sokoli led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Karpos Sokoli forced 19 Kumanovo turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Darko Sokolov (189-86) who scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Serbian power forward Dragan Labovic (207-87, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Karpos Sokoli's coach Dragan Nikolic felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Yonel Brown (175-94, college: Kennesaw St., agency: BeoExcell) produced 10 points and 6 assists and the former international guard Dimitar Karadzovski (190-84, agency: Global Sports Plaza) added 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively for the guests. Five Karpos Sokoli and four Kumanovo players scored in double figures. Karpos Sokoli maintains second position with 6-2 record behind leader Strumica. Kumanovo at the other side dropped to the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Feni Industries and Kozuv. Karpos Sokoli's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Skopje to the arena MZT Skopje.
