Finals Game 3: Udominate - Lulea Basket 69-68

Udominate nipped Lulea at home court to celebrate the first win in the championship series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 17-12. But Lulea Basket won second period 25-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Udominate forced 21 Lulea Basket turnovers. Strangely Lulea Basket outrebounded Udominate 38-23 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American guard Hollie Mershon (178-90, college: Drexel, agency: Interperformances) who scored 14 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Lithuanian point guard Santa Okockyte (175-92) chipped in 20 points. Udominate's coach Tamara Ruzic used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was FYR Macedonian forward Jelena Antic (187-91, college: Liberty) who recorded 19 points and 9 rebounds and the former international forward Anna Barthold (185-80, college: St.Peter's) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Four Lulea Basket players scored in double figures.
