Semi-Finals Game 5: Kataja Basket - Helsinki Seagulls 91-71

Kataja Basket fired past Helsinki Seagulls to secure Korisliiga Finals birth. The game was mostly controlled by Joensuun Kataja. Helsinki Seagulls managed to win fourth quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Joensuun Kataja looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Jarekious Bradley (196-90, college: SE Missouri St., agency: Diamond Sports) who scored 26 points and 8 rebounds. The former international point guard Teemu Rannikko (189-80) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 assists. The former international point guard Antto Nikkarinen (185-91, agency: Blacktop Management) produced 10 points and 7 assists and American swingman Raymond Cowels-III (193-90, college: Santa Clara) added 16 points respectively for the guests. Five Joensuun Kataja and four Helsinki Seagulls players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
