Regular Season Round 15: DELTA - SEU Tbilisi 135-83

A League top team - DELTA (12-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked SEU Tbilisi (1-14) 135-83. The game without a history. DELTA led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to SEU Tbilisi's 38. They outrebounded SEU Tbilisi 63-38 including a 42-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. DELTA players were unselfish on offense dishing 41 assists comparing to just 24 passes made by SEU Tbilisi's players. It was a great evening for American Deondre Ray (196, college: Cameron) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Saba Lobjanidze (192-93) helped adding 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Five DELTA players scored in double figures. DELTA's coach Legso Lapanashvili felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Kakha Giorgadze (197-94) with 38 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Davit Maisuradze (205-90) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. DELTA have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted DELTA maintains first place with 12-3 record. SEU Tbilisi at the other side stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost.
