Inter Bratislava nipped Prievidza on the road to take 3-1 lead. Prievidza was ahead by 14 points after three quarters before a 23-7 charge of Inter Bratislava, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Prievidza to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Strangely Prievidza outrebounded Inter Bratislava 43-25 including 17 on the offensive glass. Prievidza was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by the former international power forward Radoslav Rancik (205-79, college: St.Cloud St., agency: BeoBasket) who scored that evening 22 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian guard Aleksandar Vlahovic (190-90, agency: 011 Sports) supported him with 19 points and 4 assists. Inter Bratislava's coach Oliver Vidin allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by American guard Andre Jones (191-90, college: Winthrop) did not help to save the game for Prievidza. The former international Richard Korner (197-90) added 12 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Five Prievidza players scored in double figures.
