Vitoria outgunned Mogi das Cruzes on the road to even the series at 1-1. Universo/Vitoria outrebounded Mogi 39-23 including a 28-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Universo/Vitoria especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. American guard Keyron Sheard (188-86, college: Chattanooga, agency: Haylett Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import point guard Kenny Dawkins (175-87, college: Lamar) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized American Shamell Stallworth (195-80, college: USF, agency: Interperformances) replied with 24 points and 6 assists and American forward Tyrone Curnell (203-88, college: Valdosta St.) added 17 points in the effort for Mogi. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
