Fanola SML overcame Bologna to force the decider. Bologna was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 18-12 charge of Fanola SML, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 26 Bologna turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Fanola SML made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was power forward Jasmine Keys (190-97) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 6 blocks. Forward Martina Fassina (180-99) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. The former international point guard Raelin D'Alie (168-87, college: Wisconsin, agency: LBM Management) produced 14 points and 9 rebounds and guard Federica Nannucci (170-91) added 12 points respectively for the guests.
