The game was mostly controlled by Mondeville. Nantes Reze was better in third quarter 25-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Nantes Reze 46-33 including 37 on the defensive glass. Mondeville players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Nantes Reze's players. Canadian forward Michelle Plouffe (193-92, college: Utah) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Lisa Berkani (176-97) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Mondeville's coach Romain Lhermitte felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Katia Clanet (187-96) replied with 11 points and 9 rebounds and American-Armenian swingman Quianna Chaney (180-86, college: LSU, agency: Two Points) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Nantes Reze.
