Finals Game 2: Girona - Avenida 79-75

Girona outgunned Avenida to even the championship series at 1-1 forcing the decisive third game. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Argon Uni Girona made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Perfumerias Avenida turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by Perfumerias Avenida helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Nigerian-American Ifunanya Ibekwe (187-89, college: Arizona) scored 24 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Greek forward Artemis Spanou (188-93, college: Robert Morris) chipped in 13 points during the contest. The former international point guard Silvia Dominguez (166-87) responded with 20 points and Brazilian center Erika De-Souza (197-82) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
