Ravenna held off Roma Virtus in the opening game of the series. Ravenna made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. Ravenna had a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Matteo Tambone (192-94) fired 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Derrick Marks (190-93, college: Boise St.) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists.
