Semi-Finals Game 3: Zwolle - Leiden 78-64

Zwolle topped Leiden to gain 2-1 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Zwolle. Leiden managed to win third quarter 27-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Leiden to just 7 points in second quarter. Zwolle dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Leiden's 28 and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American center Clayton Vette (202-88, college: Winona St., agency: Court Side) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import guard JT Tiller (188-88, college: Missouri) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Rogier Jansen (188-84, agency: Court Side) who recorded 19 points and 4 assists and American forward Daviyon Draper (201-94, college: FIU, agency: Court Side) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Leiden's coach Paul Vervaeck rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
