Quarter-Finals Round 4: Vitoria - Mogi 82-80

Vitoria nipped Mogi to even the series at 2-2. Universo/Vitoria dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Mogi's 18. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Kenny Dawkins (175-87, college: Lamar) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 assists and center Douglas Kurtz (213-87, college: Hawaii) who added 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American forward Tyrone Curnell (203-88, college: Valdosta St.) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds and Guilherme Filipin (185-83) scored 17 points. Five Universo/Vitoria and four Mogi players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.
