Groningen became the first finalists after they completed the sweep of Den Bosch. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 23-8 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Groningen forced 19 Den Bosch turnovers. American point guard Lance Jeter (191-88, college: Nebraska) fired 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners.
