Finals Game 2: Helsinki Seagulls - Kauhajoki 93-77

Helsinki Seagulls fired past Kauhajoki to earn Bronze medals. The game was mostly controlled by Helsinki Seagulls. Kauhajoen Karhu was better in second period 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Helsinki Seagulls made 18-of-20 charity shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American swingman Raymond Cowels-III (193-90, college: Santa Clara) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 9 rebounds. The former international point guard Antto Nikkarinen (185-91, agency: Blacktop Management) contributed with 5 points and 16 assists for the winners. Four Helsinki Seagulls players scored in double figures. American guard Tate Unruh (193-90, college: N.Colorado, agency: Inception Sports) replied with 14 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import forward DeVaughn Washington (202-89, college: Ohio, agency: Mansfield and Associates) added 14 points in the effort for Kauhajoen Karhu. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
