We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Buenos Aires where seventh ranked Quilmes MP (23-28) defeated 6th ranked Obras Basket (25-28) 90-79 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Quilmes MP. Obras Basket was better in second period 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Luca Vildoza (190-95) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 8 assists (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) and American Tracy Robinson (201-86, college: Loyola, IL) who added 19 points during the contest. Four Quilmes MP players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international center Martin Leiva (211-80) with 16 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Fernando Zurbriggen (185-97) scored 9 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Quilmes MP maintains seventh position with 23-28 record. Obras Basket lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 28 games lost. Quilmes MP will face higher ranked Libertad Sunchales (#6) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
