Semi-Finals Game 3: Tartu Ulikool - Rapla 85-61

Tartu Ulikool snapped two-game losing skid and edged Rapla to narrow the deficit. The game was mostly controlled by Tartu Ulikool. Rapla was better in fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Rapla to just 7 points in third and fourth quarters. Tartu Ulikool dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Rapla's 26. They outrebounded Rapla 46-28 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Rapla was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for the former international Janari Joesaar (198-93, college: UTRGV, agency: Three Eye Sports) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Mandell Thomas (188-93, college: Fordham) accounted for 20 points for the winning side. International Martin Paasoja (191-93) came up with 16 points and Dutch center Thomas van-der-Mars (208-90, college: Portland) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Rapla in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
