Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Lions (0-6) were outscored by sixth ranked Sabres (3-3) in Pasadena 82-54 on Saturday. Sabres outrebounded Lions 41-30 including 27 on the defensive glass. Guard Caroline Burgess (176-82) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 9 rebounds. Kate Gladstone (-88) contributed with 19 points and 4 assists for the winners. Five Sabres players scored in double figures.
