An exciting game was played in Saitama. Saitama Broncos faced Otsuka A.. Host Saitama Broncos (3-7) smashed guests from Tokyo (1-9) 111-83. Saitama Broncos shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 59.3 percentage. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Brent Jennings (193-88, college: So.Poly State) who scored 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Tiras Wade (200-81, college: La-Lafayette) chipped in 24 points. Jennings is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Forward Kyle Richardson (201-91, college: Portland St.) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and center Joe Wolfinger (216-85, college: Citadel) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Saitama Broncos and four Otsuka A. players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Despite that victory Saitama Broncos went down to fourth position due to points difference. Otsuka A. lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the third place with nine games lost.
