Quarter-Finals Round 3: Neuchatel - Geneve Lions 78-77

Neuchatel held off Geneve Lions to narrow the gap in the series. Geneve Lions were trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 24-20 charge of Neuchatel, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Geneve Lions outrebounded Neuchatel 45-23 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American guard Tony Brown (193-79, college: Arkansas St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 5 assists. The former international power forward David Ramseier (202-87) helped adding 21 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was American point guard Chaz Williams (175-91, college: Massachusetts) with 18 points and 5 assists and the other American import swingman Antonio Ballard (193-88, college: Miami, OH) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds. Four Geneve Lions players scored in double figures.
