Semi-Finals Game 1: Dinamo Tbilisi - Rustavi 91-58

Dinamo Tbilisi overcame Rustavi to take 1-0 lead in the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Dinamo Tbilisi. Energy Invest managed to win third quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dinamo Tbilisi dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Energy Invest's 20. Dinamo Tbilisi forced 23 Energy Invest turnovers and outrebounded them 46-34 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Dinamo Tbilisi especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 69.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Energy Invest's players. Center Ilia Londaridze (205-89) stepped up and scored 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and the former international Mikheil Berishvili (204-87) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Dinamo Tbilisi players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Maurice Lewis-Briggs (203-90, college: Slippery Rock, agency: Mansfield and Associates) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Revaz Chachanidze (183-90) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
