Quarter-Finals Round 4: Moron - Cambados 75-70

Date: May 7, 2017
Moron outscored visiting Cambados to reach the next round of playoffs. It looked good early as Cambados took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Moron had a 21-7 second period charge getting the lead and Cambados was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 70-75. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Cambados to just 7 points in second quarter. The winners were led by the former international power forward Jesus Chagoyen (202-78) who scored that evening 8 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Tyler Gaffaney (193-92, college: Claremont-Mudd) supported him with 21 points. Gaffaney is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Moron's coach Javier Fijo allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 19 points and 8 rebounds by Congolese forward Charles Nkaloulou (199-94) did not help to save the game for Cambados. Point guard Adrian Chapela (192-94) added 19 points for lost side.
