Comunicaciones held off Union SF for the second straight win in the series. Comunicaciones forced 19 Union SF turnovers and outrebounded them 39-25 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Nicolas Lauria (202-88) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Cameroonian power forward Gaston Essengue (203-83, college: UNLV) chipped in 11 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Comunicaciones players scored in double figures. Comunicaciones' coach Fernando Rivero allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Swingman Bruno Barovero (194-90) responded with 19 points and 4 assists and forward Patricio Tabarez (195-91) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds.
