The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Brujos' (4-10) home loss to eighth ranked Atleticos (5-10) 68-77 on Sunday. Brujos were trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 20-6 charge of Atleticos, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Brujos to just 6 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded Brujos 39-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. Atleticos looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international forward Carlos Lopez-Sosa (208-90, college: UNLV, agency: Paris Global Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds for the winners.
